Grow Live is pleased to announce the pending release of a new location tracking add-on for Captua Mobile.
Currently in beta trials by selected existing customers, this new service allows administrators to have an ‘at a glance’ view of staff whereabouts at any time.
This add-on can help businesses manage productivity and safety in several different ways, including:
- Providing visibility of sync locations in real-time, enabling you to plan more time/fuel efficient routes and journeys.
- Locating the closest employee to a particular location in order to deploy an urgent call or service request, meeting service SLAs the most cost effective way possible.
- Monitoring employees working on potentially dangerous visits without the staffing cost overhead; for example social services home visits.
- Identify rogue employees submitting calls and visits from home and costing your business money.
Best of all, it’s simple to integrate into your existing Captua Mobile system. With a single click from the customer portal, administrators can activate GPS tracking on a selected user's device. Next time they log in to the system, you’ll be able to see their location. If GPS data isn’t available, the system looks for other ways to pinpoint the user’s approximate location.
Below is a simple example showing the user’s current location on the system after a sync. The administrator can click previous locations and trace the user’s previous movements. Locations can also be attributed to photographs, calls, visits, orders or just uploaded at a user-definable timed interval.
